Lailah - NRMS 7th Grade Girls Basketball

Lailah demonstrates what it means to play with heart, effort, and determination. At practice Lailah consistently shows up ready to give it her all. Lailah’s hustle on the court, willingness to learn, and positive attitude make a huge impact on our team.

Hudson - Wrestling

Hudson is a second year wrestler, and has been looking forward to the wrestling season for a long time. Despite breaking his foot in the first week of practice, Hudson has come back to every practice with enthusiasm and a desire to learn as well as teach other athletes in the room how to wrestle. His love for wrestling, and desire to learn and grow in the midst of unfortunate circumstances, is a great reflection of his true character.

Emerson - NRMS 8th Grade Girls Basketball

Emerson is new to basketball. She has 100% embraced the challenge of learning the game. She’s always dialed in and continues to improve daily. Keep it up Emerson!

Stella - ERMS 8th Grade Girls Basketball

Stella has shown tremendous leadership, hustle, and grit in the first 2 weeks of practice. She leads by example with her actions and positive encouragement of her teammates.

Charley - NRMS 7th Grade Girls Basketball

Charley works hard every day to improve her basketball skills. She puts effort into every drill and every rep. She listens to coaching and is a quick learner. Charley is an encourager, lifting her teammates up with positive words, positive vibes, and a smile.

Neil - Boys Swim

Neil comes to practice everyday with a positive attitude and works to get better no matter what we are doing in practice. He is supportive of his teammates and sets a great example in practice. Neil is doing a great job in pre-season and is our ERMS swimmer of the week!

Rockford Middle School Sports

Registration – All athletes must be registered using Register My Athlete (RegisterMyAthlete.com)

prior to the start of tryouts or practice, as well as enrolled in Rockford Public Schools to participate in school sponsored athletics. If a sport or team is not listed here or not available for your grade level, please check out offerings through Rockford Community Services.

A physical is required prior to tryouts/practice dated on or after April 15, 2024 for the 2024-2025 school year. Athletes must have a current physical on file and approved prior to tryouts.

FCA - Fellowship of Christian Athletes at ERMS

East Rockford Middle School

Fellowship of Christian Athletes is a student group dedicated to learning more about Jesus Christ while hanging out with old and new friends. All students are welcome! No matter what! You are wanted here. Huddles take places on Wednesdays at 7 am in Miss Davis' room – Room 101.

North Rockford Middle School

Meetings are every other Tuesday at 7:00 am in room 104. Please join us for snacks, fellowship, and prayer with Coach Barr and Coach Anderson. Enter the building to the right of the front entrance at door 51. January meetings are on the 7th and 21st.
